African Djembe Drum Circle with Thomas Christen
Many will remember happy evenings drumming with Simon. We are therefore delighted to be able to offer similar events but now with the help and guidance of Thomas Christen. A group meets here every week from 7 until 9 on a Monday evening.
Drumming with djembes and dununs, the participants learn rhythms of mainly West-African origin exploring rhythm and pulse and practicing sound technique.
Thomas aims to empower students to enjoy the beauty of African rhythm and ensemble percussion.
Complete beginners and improvers of ages 14 + are welcome.
Instruments are provided or you may wish to bring your own.
